FAQS
Shipping
Please know we’re working hard to deliver your order as soon as possible. All of our candles are hand-made to order, and we want to make sure your candle is perfect! As a result, this can take some time.
Currently, we expect most orders to be processed within 10 business days. You’ll receive a tracking link as soon as your order is ready for shipment. We use USPS Priority Mail for our standard shipping, which typically takes anywhere from 2-5 business days.
Yes! You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number the day your order ships.
All packages take up to 24 hours to update as the carrier needs to receive the package and update it within their system after it's picked up from our warehouse, so it's likely your package will update by the end of the day. If there's any outstanding issues after 48 hours please contact us and we'll look into the situation.
Receipts are sent via your email order confirmation when your order is placed. As part of our commitment to sustainability, we do not add an additional copy in the package in order to save paper.
At this time, we only ship within the United States. Due to the weight of our product, it is not currently economically feasible to ship internationally. We are looking to find solutions to offer this in the future!

If any item in your order arrives damaged, please contact us via the link on our website and add photos of the broken item to the email. We will send you a replacement asap!

We are proud to use 100% Soy Wax in our candles. We love using soy wax because it is a natural, renewable resource. Soy wax is biodegradable and much easier to clean up than other types of candle wax. Soy wax has a lower melting point than paraffin wax and because of this, soy candles will burn slower or longer than paraffin candles or soy blend candles. Soy wax burns with zero petro soot, creating petro soot free candles.
All of our candle wicks are free of lead and zinc.
Before you burn your candle, we suggest that you trim the wick down to ¼”. Do this every time, even before the first burn. Do not over-trim your wick, however, as this is a main cause of tunneling. Only trim the wick on a cooled candle, to prevent wick debris from falling into the melted wax.
Burn your candle for 3-4 hours at a time, to ensure that the wax melts evenly. Always burn your candle on a flat surface, that is heat safe, away from drafts, and out of reach of pets, children and wild or elaborate draperies. Be cautious if you need to move your candle while it is lit, or shortly after you extinguish it- the glass may be hot!
Most of our bottles come from our family, friends and neighbors. We receive a large supply from local bars and restaurants as well. We are very lucky to be surrounded by peers who share our passion for recycling and lend their support to a local business.
Nothing would make us happier than someone receiving the gift of Wine Wix! We offer the option to ship as a gift, and include a gift note. At this time we do not offer gift wrapping.
Yes! Both the shipping boxes and inner boxes are recyclable, and our packing peanuts are 100% biodegradable. The peanuts are corn-starch based, and dissolve in water. Please dispose of our packaging responsibly :)
